What Magnet does
Magnet is an embeddable video widget for websites. You connect it to one of your RecRam forms, configure how it looks and when it appears, and add one lightweight script to your site.
The install steps are the same on every platform: Webflow, Shopify, WordPress, Framer, and custom websites.
Set up Magnet and go live
- Create or select the form you want to connect to Magnet.
- Configure the widget’s appearance and display behavior for the target page. See Customize Magnet Appearance and Display Timing.
- Install the Magnet embed script in the correct placement on your website.
- Test on desktop and mobile: check that the widget is visible and that you can complete the interaction flow.
- Go live only after you’ve confirmed the trigger behavior and the conversion path.
Supported platforms
You install Magnet the same way, with the same script, on each of these:
- Webflow
- Shopify
- WordPress
- Framer
- Custom websites
Whatever the platform, the important part is placing the script correctly in your site’s template and testing the live page on desktop and mobile.
Plan limits
Every paid plan includes unlimited Video Magnets. Magnet impressions are 5,000 per month on Starter and 20,000 per month on Professional.
Troubleshooting
The widget isn’t showing on the page
- Reproduce the issue with one controlled test: one page, one browser, one device.
- Check that the embed script is installed in the correct placement on that page.
- Check the display timing settings. A widget set to appear after a delay or a scroll depth won’t show right away.
- Apply the smallest fix first, then retest the same page on desktop and mobile.
The script is added but there’s no interaction data
- Confirm the script is installed in the correct placement on the page you are testing.
- Open the page yourself and complete the interaction flow from start to finish.
- Change one thing at a time and retest, so you know which change fixed it.
- Write down the root cause and add it to your launch checklist.
Common mistakes
- Going live without end-to-end testing.
- Using one setup for every page and audience without adapting it.
- Skipping a clear follow-up and review process for the responses you collect.
