What this guide covers

Magnet is an embeddable video widget that connects a RecRam form to a page on your website. What you ask, and when the widget appears, should depend on the page. This guide covers six common page types and gives you one setup checklist for all of them.

Landing pages: lead capture

On a landing page, use Magnet for lead capture. Connect a form built for the visitors that page attracts.

Pricing pages: answer objections

Use Magnet on pricing pages to answer the objections visitors have about price and plans.

Product pages: purchase questions

On product pages, use Magnet to collect purchase questions from visitors who are close to buying.

Event pages: ticket conversion

On event pages, use Magnet to support ticket conversion.

Career pages: candidate interest

On career pages, use Magnet to collect candidate interest. Video Recording is best for emotion, tone, and richer context. Keep Text available as a fallback.

Education: admissions inquiries

For schools and education programs, use Magnet to collect admissions inquiries from prospective students.

Set up Magnet for any page

  1. Create or select the form you want to connect to Magnet, written for that page’s visitors.
  2. Configure the widget’s appearance and display behavior for the target page.
  3. Install the embed script in the correct placement on the page.
  4. Run desktop and mobile checks on visibility and the interaction flow.
  5. Go live only after you’ve confirmed the trigger behavior and conversion path.

Common mistakes

  • Going live without end-to-end testing.
  • Using one setup for every page and audience without adapting it.
  • Skipping a clear follow-up and review process for the responses you collect.
